Christmas 2010

What a Christmas! It is hard to believe that Christmas has already come and gone. Kinley turned 8 months old on Christmas Eve and Dacey Jo is 2 years and 3 months old! On Christmas Eve we went to Moie and Papaw's house for lunch. We were planning on heading to Bloomington to be with Nana and Grandpa and family but the weather didn't work out and Danny got called in to plow snow. So the girls and I spend Christmas Eve at Moie and Papaw's with TJ, Heather, Brock and Jillian. We had a great time and the girls loved all their new goodies. Then on Christmas Day we went to Grandmother and Granddaddy's house for appetizers and presents. Danny got called in again on Christmas Day so Santa made a late stop at our house on Christmas night. I didn't do a very good job with pictures...next year when my hands are a little more free I will be able to take more pictures!!
We did get to see Nana, Robyn, Chris, Tina and the kids on Sunday for a little while. Dacey LOVED playing with Lauren, Mason and Kaylynn. They are all so cute to watch!!

October Photoshoot

We finally got a few pictures taken of the girls. Dacey is now 2 years old and Kinley is 6 months old. They are growing up so fast. Just love them!!! Tonight Dacey said, "Mommy, you my best friend. Sissy my best friend." I just hope her and Sissy stay best friends forever! I love these ages!!!
Already sharing secrets!

This one just looked too cool not to share!
I love her brown eyes in this picture

I know...I know...the flower is as big as her head but I love it for fall! I HAD TO!!!

Happy Birthday Dacey!!!

What an awesome day! Dacey and family celebrated her 2nd birthday with a Ladybig Birthday Party. These are just a few pictures and I honestly don't think the pictures show just how cute and amazing everything was. Dacey had so much fun playing with cousins and friends. Auntie Heather decorated and made so much stuff!!! She is such a great party planner. In the picture below you can see the adorable cupcakes. It looked like grass with little lady bugs on the top and then to add even more she made cupcake toppers. And then my favorite was the cupcake skewers for just the right size bites. We also had black and red candies: twizlers, mm's, fruit slices and junior mints. And to top everything off Moi and Papaw made homemade ice cream...it not a party without the homemade ice cream.

Dacey got so many nice presents. Needless to say she was completely worn out. It has been a long time since she has gone to bed at 8 but tonight was one of those nights...I love it!!!

Going....Going...Over!!!!

Just a Few More

Swim Lessons

We took Dacey to swim lessons for two weeks this summer. She loved it! We aren't quite ready to move up a class but next summer will be fun with both girls in the water. Dacey loved to ride down the big red slide with mommy and by the end of the second week she would go down the froggy slide all by herself.

Photo Shoot

I was trying to set up our own photo shoot at home...maybe we will get better at this. I love this first picture of Kinley! She looks so cute with a flower in her hair!
This is the face Dacey would give me when I was trying to take a picture of her.
And this is what happens when I would try to get a picture of them both! :)

Kinley's Dedication

We got Kinley dedicated a couple of weeks ago and after church several members of the family enjoyed lunch and goodies at our house! I wasn't able to take a lot of pictures since I was super busy but it was a great time. Even Gradma Swets got to come!

July 4th

The 4th of July was busy this year with the first annual 5K on Friday night with the fireworks. My sist-in-law, Heather and I ran in the 5K. Then everyone watched the fireworks out on base. Then on Saturday we all got to watch the parade at Aunt Robyn's house. Here is Dacey and Jillian waiting for the parade to start!

Here is Dacey once the parade started...not a fan of the sirens.
