Dacey's on the Move

Dacey turned 7 months on April 7th and the day before she started doing a lot more moving. She can now crawl around and even sit down by her self. She amazes me everyday. We went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and she was 15 pounds and 5 ounces and 26 and 3/4 inches long. So she was in the 40th percentile for her weight and the 75th percentile for her height. But I think the weight thing might change soon. Just within the last week she has started eating so much more and has been sleeping so much better. It is a whole new step when you are able to lay her down when she is still awake and she can fall asleep on her own. I love this stage! She also takes naps now better than she ever has.

Daddy's Birthday!

Friday was Danny's birthday and Dacey and I took him out to lunch. I told him he could choose anything he wanted and guess what he chose...Culver's. I think it is good too...but for your birthday lunch! :) So Dacey and I took him out and then we took off for Indy. On Tuesday night we had my family over for taco's before Moi had to go to Southern Illinois and we celebrated Danny's birthday with an ice cream cake.

Tonight Dacey came in riding on Daddy's back. She thought it was so much fun!!! She loves her daddy!

Another Great Weekend

This past weekend Danny, Dacey, and I went to Indy to celebrate Danny and Uncle Rusty's birthdays. We traveled on Friday night and stayed with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Keri. It is always so nice staying with them. Then on Saturday night Nana watched Dacey, Camden, and Addi so the rest of us could surprise Uncle Rusty at Howl at the Moon Piano Bar. It was a great time and Uncle Rusty was very surprised. While we were in Indy Dacey learned how to sit up. We also got to see our cousins, Camden, Addi, Ben, and Grant. Dacey has now become a pro at jumping in her jump-aroo. I had to share!

Bath Time

Dacey loves her bath time. I am so thankful I have a kid that loves to take a bath. It makes my life so much easier. We have finally gotten into a nightly routine of taking a bath at 8, bottle at 9, and bedtime shortly after that. Danny has also taught her to chew on the little pink toy that is attached to the tub. She hates getting out of the tub because she has to let go of it!

A Great Family Weekend!

This past weekend Danny, Dacey, and I went to Bloomington. I had the chance to go to Hearts at Home with Nana, Aunt Keri, and Aunt Tina. It was such a great enperience and got my even more pumped with ideas for Dacey as she gets bigger. The speakers were great and the fellowship was even better. I will have to put more pictures out once I get them from Robyn but I had to share this little video of our niece, Kaylynn. She is almost 11 months old and is so adorable! This is Chris and Tina's youngest!

6 Months!!!!

We have made it! Dacey is six months old and she is so much fun to be around. She has been sleeping through the night and eating so much better. I love it!!! At the sitter she has learned to eat cheerios, honey combs, and even the insides of a donut. She is still trying to crawl and walk at the same time. She can get around the room but not quite on all fours.
