For those of you who didn't believe me!!!

In case you didn't believe my last post I was able to get a video of her rolling over this time. It just amazes me that she can barely hold her head up yet she can now roll over. Goes to show you how much they change in just a few weeks.

What an exciting weekend!!!

Dacey got to meet her Uncle Chris and Aunt Tina for the first time. She also got to play with her cousins Lauren, Mason, and Kaylynn on Friday. Lauren and Mason were such big helps with her. Kaylynn is not quite old enough to hold Dacey but with them only being 5 months apart I think they will be great buddies growing up!!

And I had to throw this picture in here just because it was so cute!!! Who knows she may grow up to be a cheerleader...even though I am hoping for a great ball player!!

And this is priceless. Dacey found her thumb. I don't think she really knew what she was doing!!!




And then I saved the best for last........Dacey is 7 weeks old today and she rolled over!!!!!!!!! I was so excited. I had her on her stomach on the floor trying to get her to lift her head up to look at me. The next thing I know she is rolling over onto her back!!! It amazes me every day what all she can do and how things are changing!! She did so well on Saturday while her daddy watched her. I am hoping this is going to be a new trend of happiness!!! :)

Dacey's 1st Boyfriend

Are they not the cutest in the whole world!!! Dirksen is 8 weeks now...just 2 and a half weeks older than Dacey. They have gotten to spend lots of time together over the last few weeks. Christopher and Brandy Johnson live just down the road from us. I am so thankfully for all of them. Brandy has been so helpful and it has been great getting to know Braxton too...he is (almost) 3 year sold. Most days I wouldn't get a shower without Brandy's help watching Dacey!!!! I am really going to miss her when she goes back to work.

One Month Check Up

My baby is already 5 weeks old. Now that I look back it has gone pretty quickly. On Friday we went to the doctor to see just how much she has grown. She is now 9 pounds and 4 ounces and 21 and 3/4 inches. We also found out that she does have a little bit of colic but thankfully I think that is getting a little better.

SLEEP!!!!

WE GOT SOME SLEEP LAST NIGHT!!!!! I am never up this early to post anything but we actually got some sleep last night. After talking to several people Danny and I decided we should try to have her sleep on her tummy. I was very nervous and watched her sleeping for an hour before I could go to bed and then woke up in a panic after 3 and a half hours but she was still breathing!!! If you haven't heard our troubles over the past month Dacey has not been sleeping on her own at all. Danny and I have been sleeping with her on our chest for a month now so we haven't had much sleep at all. She did have to sleep with her dad for a little bit last night but for the most part she slept in her pack in play next to her mommy!!!! YEAH!!!! We go to the doctor tomorrow so be praying for us!!

Dacey's Company

Dacey has been blessed with great company over the last month so I thought I would share some of the photos. Thank you to everyone that has had a chance to stop by and we look forward to more visitors as Dacey gets bigger.

Dacey's Big Weekend!!

On Saturday, Dacey went to her first Apple Pork Festival. She was a real trooper and was such a great shopper. She slept though most of it. I see many of these in her future!!! Then on Sunday Dacey got to go to her first bridal shower. Tanna had her Bridal Shower in St. Joe and it was so nice. Dacey was a big hit. Below is a picture of mommy to be, Alicia Burke, and neighbor Kristi Bruns. Dacey did a great job and didn't mind getting passed around at all. Alicia is due with her 2nd on December 23rd!!
