We are now into EVERYTHING!!!

Dacey thinks she is BIG stuff now. She is into everything. We were gone for a long weekend and once we got home she thought she needed to play with everything and pull up on everything. She was so glad to be home. The other day I walked out of the living room into the dining room and when I came back in I caught her reaching for the remote on the foot stool. When she saw me she got so excited that she thought she could run. She moved so quickly that she had let go of the foot stool and tried to run on her own. She isn't ready for that (and neither am I!) so she wound up flat on her face.

Last week Dacey got a hold of the house phone and made her first phone call to her Uncle Rusty. Thankfully it was him and he didn't mind. It was pretty funny...it is crazy how quick kids pick up on phones!!

Dacey's Ears are Finally Pierced

A couple of weeks ago we finally took Dacey to get her ears pierced. I have been putting it off because I thought her little lobes were too small but we finally were able to do it. Moi and Auntie Robyn helped us. Dacey did very well. She did cry for able thirty seconds but we have not had a problem with them since. She is such and big girl and looks absultely adorable with her little ears pierced.

Last weekend we celebrated Nana and Grandpa's 25th Wedding Anniversary. Everyone through a surprise party for them at the Linden and it was so nice. All the kids came home and several realatives made the trip to Rantoul.

A Busy Weekend

It seems like every weekend is so jammed packed these days. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE IT, but man does it wear me out. On Saturday I got to play softball all day and with the nice weather Dacey was even able to be out with me. We are so ready for this nice weather. Then on Sunday we spent lots of time with family. The picture below is at Danny's birthday party on Sunday (I know it was last month but everyone was busy). TJ and Heather had gone to the home show at the Assembly Hall and Jennifer Ketchmark was there. They decided to get Danny an autographed picture of her for his birthday. He is a fan!!! It was soooo funny!

Crawling Mastered

Here is a recent video of Dacey crawling. She has now mastered it and can follow me down the hallway. It is so much fun but she is already into everything. Not to mention I don't think Dobie and Maynard were ready for her to move as fast as she does. They haven't learned to move yet!

Pulling Up

Well just yesterday Dacey decided she was already bored with crawling and decided to pull up. First she started in her bed, which is a good thing we put her crib down 2 days ago. Perfect timing!! Then I was sitting in the living room in the chair and she wanted up so she pulled right up. She is still very flimsy when she pullls up and it looks like she is going to fall over once she gets up but I am sure before long she will have it mastered.

Poor Maynard

Dacey absolutely loves Dobie and Maynard. Now that Dacey is starting to move more they are not so in to her. On Sunday Maynard jumped in Dacey's crib, I put her in with him and he was not so sure about it. It was so funny!
