A New Normal

Thank you to Aunt Heather for posting pictures of Kinley Ellen. We are starting to get into the swing of things now that Kinley will be 2 weeks old. Dacey is starting to like Kinley more and more and mommy and daddy are getting much more sleep than we did when we had Dacey. Mommy and the girls don't get out much without the help of daddy or others but that is ok. We enjoy staying home and love when we have company to stop by. Here are a few pictures that I have not had a chance to post. I hope to take more recent ones soon...these girls change everyday!!

She's Here!!!

made her debut last night,

April 24 at 9:52 pm

She weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz.

and was 19.5 in. long

Mom and baby are doing just great. Aunt Heather is guest blogging for her today so that friends and family can see this precious new addition to the Kooi family! Can't wait for her to come home so we can love on her!!!

Spring is Finally Here!

Dacey no longer likes to be inside. She wants to be outside no matter how cold or windy it is. The other morning after she got up I was walking out of her room with her in my arms and she was pointing so I asked her where she wanted to go and she kept saying "side" which is her way of saying outside. She would stay outside all day if she could!

I know I have shown you pictures of Dobie and Dacey before...but they truely are best friends. I hope the new baby and Dobie get along as well as Dacey and Dobie do. I really can't believe he will let her lay on him the way she does.

And I love this picture of her. She just looks so cute and innocent!

Funny Girl!

Dacey Jo's personality is really starting to show. She makes me laugh all the time!! Here are a few of her funny moments. This is Dacey's scary face!!

I think Dacey's favorite part of this book is playing peak a boo with Daddy!

These are Dacey's favorite shoes. She thinks she has to wear them all time...even when she has her pjs on she thinks she needs to wear them. I had to get this shot of her wearing the shoes on the wrong feet.

This is becoming her new look. If you take something that she wants....you get this. If you say something she doesn't like....you get this!!

Super Bowl

I have to thank Aunt Heather for editing my blog for me. I have no idea how to change anything and she updated the homepage for me...love it!!!! I am so thankful she knows how to do this blog thing!! Dacey loves her cousins....this is her and Bock (what Dacey calls Brock). I can't wait to see these cousins grow up together!!

Ho Ho Ho!

Ok I am a little late but I had to share the picture of Dacey and Santa....needless to say she is not a fan! It is kind of funny....now she says Ho Ho Ho any time she sees a Santa hat or a Santa Clause. Maybe next year she will like him!!
