Happy Halloween!!!!

This year we celebrated Halloween all weekend long. I would guess I got my money's worth out of Dacey's costume!!! On Friday night we went to Trunk and Treat at our church. There were so many people there, but it was still a lot of fun. Dacey got to shoot some hoops with Pastor Ken. But her favorite thing to do was climb in and out of the beach chair! Then on Saturday we went to Tolono and got to Trick or Treat with Brock and Jillian. They were all so cute. It was so much fun watching them all. Dacey thought she was as big as they were. Then on Sunday evening we went to a costume party with Tanna's family. I thought I would ad a picture of what Danny and I dressed up as...

Fun with the Boys

This week Rusty, Emily, Ben and Grant were in town. Dacey got to play with the boys and she had so much fun. At the top you will notice Dacey climbing through an end table. Ben was standing and looking at it and then Dacey came over and moved him out of the way so she could climb in. But it was super cute when Dacey and Ben climbed into the seats together. Grant is in the third picture and he is a busy little bee. They are all so cute and the boys will be having a birthday on November 10th!!!

Little Monkey

Last weekend Danny, Dacey and I helped Uncle TJ and Aunt Heather move into their new house. I have to admit that Dacey and I didn't do much HELP...but we did enjoy playing in Brock and Jillian's new toy room. The house is so nice with so much room. After playing with all the Brock and Jillian's toys Dacey took a liking to the laundry basket!!!! Once we got home she decided to start climbing into her toy basket. Too funny!! Can you see her blankie and book?

Daddy's Little Helper

The weekend that it started getting REALLY cold....of course our heater went out! The only good thing about this is Danny is very handy and was able to fix it himself (with a $300 part!). Dacey was Daddy's little helper!!

Dacey's BIG Secret!!

If you guessed that she is going to be a big sister than you guessed right!!! Danny and I are now expecting #2!!! It was a complete surprise but we are excited!! I am 10 weeks along today and am feeling pretty good. I will be glad when I am not so tired but I guess I should get used to that if we are going to have two around. The baby is due April 27th!! I am so thankful that this is going to be a winter pregnancy....hopefully NO swelling this time around. Please pray for us during this pregnancy that everything goes good. I will try to keep you updated on everything!!!

Birthday Party

I am sorry for the delay!!! Dacey's birthday pictures are finally here. Dacey Jo turned 1 on Labor Day!!! We had a birthday party on the Saturday before Labor Day. Dacey had so much fun playing with her cousins and friends.

We had everything set up outisde and just as everyone started to show up we had to move all the tables and chairs into the garage. I was ok with that...at least everyone got to see our hard work. I had been planning this for a year and it was so great that it was finally here. Dacey had a pink and brown cupcake party and everything besides the sprinks turned out perfect. When it was time for Dacey to eat her own cupcake she had no problem tearing into it. I sat it in front of her and within a few seconds she was dipping her hands in for a taste. She just about ate the entire JUMBO cupcake!!!

After all the sugar I expected her to get really hyper and be all ready to go but just the opposite happened. She let Hallie and Katie push her all around in the stroller without a peep. By the time it was dark she was ready to pass out. She had had enough partying for one day. Thank you to everyone for all the great cards and presents!! We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again in a year!!!!
