Dacey is starting to move!!

In this first picture you can tell how far she has moved. I started her off on the pink blanket in the background. She found a way to get all the way over to the toys and turned back around to the blanket. She is able to roll both ways but she won't do it together so she moved using her arms, legs, and head! She wound up getting a rug burn under her nose. It was so exciting.

Can you tell who Dacey's new best friend is? This morning she looked up at Dobie and started talking to him. I can already tell she is going to love him as a big brother!

And here is a little clip of her moving. It was kind of hard for you to see just hom much she moved with my video. Once I would stop the video she would move a long ways!

Play Date

Just an update on Dacey's boyfriends! Dirksen is 2 and a half weeks older than Dacey. I can't wait until they are old enough for play dates. Braxton is the best big brother. They are all so cute!

Family Pictures

Grandpa White came to visit with little Dacey and she did so well for him. I was surprised she sat still long enough to have her picture taken. He also got to watch her show off her rolling skills. She has just recently started rolling from her back to her stomach.

5 Months!!

My baby is five months old. She went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and she was 25 and 3/4 inches long and 14 pounds and 3.5 ounces. So she is in the 80th percentile for her height and the 45th percentile for her weight. So hopefully she will be tall and slender like her daddy!

Real Food!

When we took Dacey to the doctor the other day they wanted us to try to feed her real food. I was a little nervous because everyone says how hard it is to start a 4 month old on realy food but she loved it. We started for off with Sweet Potatoes and they were a hit. She would cry when I couldn't get it in her mouth fast enough. Then once she ate it all she had a major cow. I can't wait until tomorrow when we try it again!

Catching Up

I wasn't a very good picture taker over Christmas so I will just catch you up on Dacey. She is 4 months old today!!!!!! It has been a rough 4 months but it has gone fast now that I look back on it. She also just got her first sickness...an ear ache. For Christmas this year we did Christmas with the Schlittler's at my parents house on Christmas day, then we had Christmas with just my parents and brother's family that evening. Then on the Saturday after Christmas we all packed up and headed to Jeff and Keri's house to have the Koch and Kooi Christmas. It was a busy week but it was so nice to get to spend time with family.

Now that Dacey is 4 months she has also started playing with toys and moving a little more. She has rolled over more and has just learned how to scoot backwards. Danny had her a blanket and when he looked down next she had completely moved off of it. She is growing like crazy!
